I am from Utah, near Salt Lake City. I was traveling to Roseville MN for business and a MN co-worker suggested that I visit Cooqi for a gluten free bakery treat. Little did I know I was about to find my gluten free bakery haven. I purchased $20 of goods to eat on my flight from MSP to SLC. This made my trip, the Carrot Cake Cupcakes are truly amazing!
When will you be opening a shop in Provo or Salt Lake City? I cannot wait for my next trip to MSP.

I am a exchange student from London studing at St Mary's (Winona) and I came to stay with a friend for the weekend in St Paul. Being intolerant to wheat is such a worry when staying with other people but my friends mum got some bread from your bakery and I have to say it is some of the best I have ever tasted! I wish I could take it all back to England for the rest of my family because I have never heard of a bakery dedicated to glutenfree food in London. I think it is so brillient, and plus glutenfree isnt only for people who are intolerant, it is much easier to digest so I think everyone should try it out! Thankyou for your lovely food!

I was in St. Paul this past weekend for a family wedding. I was stressed about finding Gluten free food as I am the only one in my family with Celiac Disease. I was soooooo excited to find your shop and taste your AMAZING food!!!!
I came in on Friday 10/9 and your staff was so friendly and amazing.

We just ate at Pizza Luce for the 1st time with my husband and 12 year old son who are gluten free. This was by far the best dining experience we have had in the 10 years that we have been dealing with a gluten-free diet. I'd like to thank you for finding the courage to open this bakery. "Avoid wheat." That seems like a simple rule - but for me it's almost impossible to obey. In the past I've been on and off the wheat-free diet because my symptoms aren't very severe, but as I've learned (with the help of a patient nutritionist) it is just not worth feeling sick. I've also tried making my own breads and cookies, but it seems like nothing ever really turned out.
My best friend took me to your bakery for my birthday, and I honestly couldn't believe that I was eating a chocolate chip cookie with wheat-free ingredients. It was the first time I had eaten birthday cupcakes guilt-free since my diagnosis. This is not an overstatement: you are truly making a difference in the quality of life for many people, and we thank you!

I found your bakery today! A fellow Celiac gave me your name and
location. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 10 years ago, but have probably had it most of my life. To find a bakery that ONLY sells gluten free bakery items AND is organic AND is free of refined sugar is a true gift. I thank you with all my heart (and tummy!) for your dedication to developing delicious breads, treats and granola. I even purchased some dried bread cubes for stuffing on Thanksgiving! Hey, we came and the GF pizzas were sold out. But YOU were there and saved the day--brought in more GF pizza dough. The pizza, even after 2-hour wait--was superb. Thanks for saving our night out! I just finished reading your latest newsletter and learned that Cooqi's crust is the most wonderful and delicious crust I've been eating from Leonardo's Pizzeria in Mahtomedi recently. I LOVE being able to order a pizza again and have it taste oh, so good! I've tried other crusts and pizzas with GF crusts and have not had one yet that I like this well - it will be very hard to beat. THANK-YOU! THANK YOU! I thought your rolls were out of this world! You might consider talking to some restaurants about serving your bread. It is up there with some of the best that I have had (I don't have celiac, so that means non-GF too!!).

I want to sing your praises! My sister and I both are gluten free and mourned the loss of sandwiches and toast until we found you! We have tried lots of breads in an effort to find something that tastes good and we both had given up on the battle until we tried your products. They are so fresh and tasty! For the first time I do not feel sad when I bite into a turkey sandwich for lunch! We live all the way in White Bear Lake, a 30 minute drive from you, but we still make the trek once a week for your bread. It is worth the trip and the gas, which is saying a lot these days! The health factor is a huge consideration for me, and even though I know there are GF substitutes for just about everything out there, I have avoided almost all of them (except for the occasional treat) because it seemed like they were full of nothing but sugar and empty calories. I brought a cupcake home for my husband, not telling him where I purchased it (other than saying it was "some" bakery in the cities) and he absolutely loved it! When I told him about the healthy ingredients and what your bakery was about, he was amazed at how good it tasted! He was like, "can we drive up there and get more!?" (we're from Hastings).

First, let me say how thrilled we are that you have opened your bakery and are providing delicious items that are Gluten-Free!!! Our 4 year-old daughter has been on a strict Gluten-Free diet for the last 7 months and to have a place we can go where she can have anything she wants to eat is truly in itself "a treat" and has made her feel a little less different than the other kids her age. In addition to which, the muffins, cookies and cupcakes (her favorite) are all so delicious you'd never know the difference! Our only complaint is that we wish you were just a little closer (we're in Plymouth). Keep up the good work!

I have just made my second stop at Cooqi. BRILLANT! Your shop is cheerful and welcoming but more importantly, for individuals like myself who have Celiac Disease, it is a godsend to finally have a great spot in St. Paul. I am a great cook myself, but not much of a baker so I am really grateful for access to gluten-free goodies. I have tried a number of products around town, done some mail order products, driven to Rochester and Madison in search of a reasonable gluten-free bread. Finally, right around the corner in my own neighborhood - Cooqi has just the right stuff!

My daughter gave me 3 Cooqi breads, flour mix and granola for my birthday PLUS a beautiful cake which was absolutely delicious! She brought this all up to the north woods of Wisconsin for our family vacation. Everyone there loved everything and decided that GF can be really delicious if it comes from Cooqi. While everything we got from your bakery was very good, I have to tell you that I was the most excited about The Works bread. We made lunch meat sandwiches the one evening... it was awesome... and I didn't have to toast the bread! That was the first sandwich that I've been able to have on cold bread and it was delicious!! I just kept raving about it. My brother even had a bite of my sandwich and said it was good. So for a 'regular' eater to say it was good .. to a gluten-free eater .. IT WAS FABULOUS!! :) My son even requested a second sandwich.
